This episode not so quickly describes Polina's plan for the upcoming year.
In the middle of the summer, she decides to quit her fancy government job in Moscow to devote herself to new studies. This is a year long education based in London that can partially be done online. Polina wants to become a health practitioner who will help people to recover from chronic illness. A few years back, she herself was sick with a debilitating illness and managed to recover using a method that is only available in Western countries. She wants to bring it to her country and make it accessible to Russians so they also can benefit from this amazing technique and regain their health.
The education is extremely expensive for Russian Polina, but she decides that money is not something that is going to stop her. She has some savings, but they are not enough.
She develops a plan on how to make enough money to sponsor her education while living a decent life and not selling a kidney on the black market. She decides to travel to the Caribbean island of Saint Martin in September to check for waitress job opportunities for the spring. The idea is that this can bring her good cash which will cover the education fees. She also wants to spend some time solving her personal issues and simply relax from her previous highly intellectual job before proceeding with her new life path. Polinas' close friend lives over there and is happy to host her.
She gets a scholarship to study and live in Israel between October and February. Polina is not very happy with what is going on in this part of the world, but it is economic and curiosity reasons that are driving her. Her survival plan for the year is all set up. She tells her colleagues that her time in the office is coming to an end.
